SMC tiles are a new type of glass fiber reinforced plastic roof material formed by high-temperature and high-pressure molding of SMC sheet molding compound. They comply with the national JC/T 944-2005 building materials standard. With their excellent performance, they are gradually replacing traditional roofing materials such as color steel tiles and asbestos tiles, and are widely used in factory buildings, warehouses, greenhouse sheds, substations, livestock farms, and other scenarios.
Its core advantages are prominent. It is lightweight with high strength, having a surface density of approximately 4.55 kg/m². The glass fiber content is ≥23% and the curing degree is ≥90%. It can withstand impact and heavy loads. A 1kg steel ball dropped from a height of 1 meter does not cause any damage. The heavy-duty model is more suitable for engineering scenarios. Its weather resistance and anti-corrosion performance are excellent. After a 500-hour artificial climate aging test, the loss of gloss rate is ≤1 grade. It can withstand exposure to the sun, rainstorms, and high salt spray environments. The water absorption rate is ≤0.2%, and its service life can reach 20-30 years.
